Join professional actor/improviser from Los Angeles Nicola Vann in residency at Riekes for a week-long intensive focusing on the foundations of acting technique.

M-F July 24th-28th, 9:00am-3:00pm (TIME TBD), Ages 11-18

Over this week-long intensive, Nicola will dive into the foundations of acting technique. Students will study how to break down a script, connect with a character, and employ their bodies and voices to give a great performance. Students will be given scripts through which they can explore the techniques they are learning. Each day will also incorporate improv games and exercises to help students relax, build confidence, find their voices, and trust their own great ideas. 

This is an intensive suitable for those with experience acting and beginners alike. Nicola trusts kids to be smart and hardworking and is great at making kids feel comfortable and confident, while quickly getting them to a place where they are challenged. This course will cover a wide breadth of material and be tons of fun!
