Thank You Volunteers: 750 Kits Assembled

On Saturday, September 13, the community came together for a day of giving back. At our Americares at Riekes Kit Assembly event, volunteers of all ages assembled 750 essential hygiene kits for neighbors in need.

Hygiene kits are among the most urgently needed items for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and recovering from emergencies. Thanks to the incredible work of everyone who participated, these kits will be distributed directly to two Silicon Valley organizations, LifeMoves and Samaritan House. This will provide much-needed support and relief to local residents facing tough times.

We are so proud of the fantastic turnout, especially the age range of our volunteers - from 8 to 97! The day was filled with a wonderful sense of community, including food, drinks, and tours of the Riekes Center. Every person who came out helped make a difference, and we're so grateful for your time and effort.
