Richard Wilkins

Front Desk Extraordinaire. Loves food, loves photography, loves food photography.

Richard was born in Redwood City, CA in November of 1983. He spent most of his childhood years in Redwood City, and in 1997 he transferred from Sacred Heart Prep to James Logan High School in Union City, CA. At Logan he found his interest in media. He joined the Electronic Media Production Academy, took Video Production classes and a Television Broadcasting class, where he took part in a daily TV show that was broadcasted throughout the school.

In 2003, he continued his education in media at Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, CA studying film. At Brooks he was able to produce, shoot and edit short films, music videos and commercials. He even worked on a music video for Jennifer Lopez. Richard graduated from Brooks in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Video Production with an emphasis on commercial film. He is now pursuing a career in photography.

Richard joined the Riekes Center in 2010.
