Homeschool Programs
We offer home school nature immersion programs for ages 3 to 18. Each program meets once per week for 4-6 hours during the fall to spring for a total of 30 weeks. Our programs run Tuesday through Friday in 3 different locations: Huddart Park (Woodside), Tunitas Creek Ranch (Half Moon Bay), and Wilder Ranch State Park (Santa Cruz). Each day begins with large groups circles where students share appreciations and the story of the day. We then break into smaller groups for hands-on skills and explorations of the landscapes. We offer small instructor to student ratios (1:8 maximum). Parents are invited each season for campouts and for “family days”. We offer programs for the following age groups:
Nest to Fledge 3-5 years old, plus parents. Tunitas Creek Ranch, Wednesdays
N.E.W.T.S. 6-8 years old. Tunitas Creek Wednesdays, Wilder Ranch Thursdays, Huddart Park Fridays
Preteen 9-12 years old. Huddart Park (Woodside) Tuesdays, Tunitas Creek (Pescadero) Wednesdays, Wilder Ranch (Santa Cruz) Thursdays, Huddart Park Fridays
Teen 13-18 years old. Huddart Park Fridays
Note- These programs are very popular with most programs having wait lists.
