Band Class
Band Class is the ultimate program for students who are ready to take their musicianship to a higher level. Bands of 3-4 students meet an hour per week and learn songs with an emphasis on excellent live performance. Students also learn how to improvise and come up with tasteful riffs and grooves in a variety of styles. Riekes Center bands have gone on to write their own songs, play local shows, and record albums.

Pop and Fizzle Teen Band Night (Included for all Band Class students)
Every 2 months, we host a free concert to provide a venue for our bands to play 3-5 song sets and invite their friends to enjoy great music. The pros say that you don’t really learn how to play live until your 100th gig. We want to help our students get there as quickly as they can!
